The author a Glasgow, Scotland native, has extensively researched the history of WWII and the art plundered by the Nazis. Presently, Mr. McBride divides his time between his residences in Toronto and Puerto Vallarta.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland and now residing in Toronto, Canada, the author boasts a rich background in aerospace and Pro soccer coaching. Intrigued by a Guardian article on the vast trove of missing WWII-era art, he was moved to delve into the history of the era and the artists affected. After visiting the Dachau Concentration Camp, in Munich, he felt compelled to shed light on the stolen masterpieces.
This journey led to the creation of a fiction series aimed at returning the artworks to their rightful owners or heirs, offering a sense of justice and honoring both the artists and victims of the war.
